Julia's Sweet Eats began the way the best things do: with a love of baking, a lot of practice, and people gathered around a table. What started as cakes for family has grown into custom desserts for celebrations across the community.
How Julia's Sweet Eats Grew
A Passion for Baking
For Julia, baking was never just a task. It was a way to bring people joy. Long before there was a business, there was a genuine love of creating something beautiful and delicious from scratch.
Studying at Humber
Julia turned her passion into craft, studying Pastry & Baking at Humber. There she refined her technique, learned the fundamentals of pastry, and built the skills behind every cake and dessert she makes today.
Baking for Family
It started at home. Birthdays, holidays, and everyday celebrations became the perfect excuse to bake. Family gatherings were where Julia's cakes first became part of the memories.
The First Order
Julia's Sweet Eats officially began in November 2019 with its very first order: a batch of Julia's sugar cookies. That first order is where it all started.
Extended Family & Friends
As word got around, requests came from extended family and then friends. Each new celebration was a chance to try something new (different themes, flavours, and designs), and the reputation grew one cake at a time.
Serving Vaughan & the GTA
What began as a family kitchen has become Julia's Sweet Eats: custom cakes and desserts for celebrations in Vaughan and across the Greater Toronto Area. Every order is still made with the same care that started it all.
